Use Lubegard Platinum in atf

Bought my 03 and previous owner through on 12" Meathook handlebars but used stock cables. If you could would you do series of replacing all 3 cables please?

Soapy water does the same thing and after water evaporates they stick like glued.

I got everything out except the 5th gear seal on my 85 FXRS. I was trying to pry from the outside, you got a pick nicely in the rubber side. I will try that. Awesome !

Hay brother I got the shinko 777 on my 99 ultra Electra glide classic in the back I was getting the wobble around the same speed as u , I had my wife follow me I got her up to 65/70 mph the ass was all over the place I slowed her down, and now she is going to the shop for new tire in the back , funny thing is that I live by j&p Harley shop witch is closed now they know the bike I have an said this is a good one 😔the size of the tire is 130/90 mc 73r I'm over it, not losing my life over it, been riding since I was 16 now 51, I bought this bike road it home over 200 miles nothing wrong until I put this tire on 🤬 never again 👊🏻

I ride a 2004 electra glide as well. You really out did yourself. Is the motor still stock? Did you find anything about the 04 model that you like especially, like the fact that hd put a wider rear tire on the 04, the rear forks were re-engineered. 1st year of delco fuel injection. But you could still get it carbureted . Cartridge front suspension, air ride rear suspension. Now i put the hydraulic tensioners in my cam chest, with a new plate and pump all by screaming eagle, and a new cam and bearing as my old looked scored.as for performance it is stock. Its an old police bike out of Kansas so no top box, thank God. That green wow. Never see another like it. Man you did it right too.

Wow, you had to pay for that app. Another reason to avoid BMW. A few years ago I bought a used Indian Chieftain. Took it to the dealer to get the emergency start code. It allows you to start bike with out the fab. They gave me the code and showed me how to use it. ALL. free. I bought some t- shirts as a sign of gratitude. I think I will stick with Indian.

The moment I put these tires on I knew I messed up. The rear is oval shaped and the front is a flatter profile. In turns it feels like they are arguing with each other. The back end wants to lean but the front tire wants no part of it. 80-90mph sweepers are very unsettling. I’d call it “pre tank slappers” handlebar starts to wiggle. I can’t wait to these off my bike

Hi. Trying to figure out your wiring. Did you connect the Shad brake light to the bike brake light wiring and then connect the flasher to the Shad wiring, and this will only flash the Shad, not the bike? I'm trying to wire a V-Strom 650, and I only want the Shad light to flash, not the bike brake light. Thanks.

Great job, I am trying to do the same job, I now think I will order the Jim’s tooling, I did manage to unbolt the starter with out taking the oil tank off, I made up a long extension ball socket, Alan Key Drive, And remove the splashguard where it joins the back of the frame moved the electrics to the right hand side which then gave me access to the Top Allen key Bolt on the starter that are done with the small ratchet, I’ve been watching your tour tutorials and find them very interesting and very helpful , keep up the great work
